Just announced! Recovery Coach Academy training opportunity

North Central Accountable Community of Health is proud to partner with the Central Washington Recovery Coalition to release a brand new training opportunity in North Central Washington. Being a successful Recovery Coach Trainer is very rewarding and also requires a great deal of time, energy, and commitment. The Recovery Coach Training will take place in two phases:

  1. The first phase is the standard 30-hour (4 day) Recovery Coach Academy (RCA).  Once this is completed, each participant will be a certified Recovery Coach.
  2. The second phase is a 2-day Training of Trainers (TOT) workshop. Once completed, each participant will be able to teach the full 30-hour course, adhering to the program curriculum and objectives. Please note that each trainer will be required to provide a minimum of one training in the first year after becoming a certified trainer.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Anyone in the recovery field. The Recovery Coach Academy and Training of Trainers can accommodate fifteen trainer candidates. There is limited space available and individuals with lived experience will be prioritized for this training opportunity.
DATES: The Recovery Coach Academy will be held September 30 through October 3, 2019 in Wenatchee, WA (specific location is TBD).  The training of trainers will be held October 12 and 13 in Wenatchee, WA (specific location is TBD). In order to apply, you must commit to attending both the Recovery Coach Academy and the Training of Trainers in full. Please hold these dates on your calendar until you hear back from us regarding application decisions.
COST: Training costs, including tuition, materials, and lunch each day of the training will be covered by the North Central Accountable Community of Health (NCACH). Transportation and lodging assistance may be available from the NCACH if those expenses pose a barrier to participating in the Recovery Coach Training.
